Description

These five canvases are a new work! They are an extension of my “Ab-scrap” series… I worked the five canvases simultaneously over the past five years, just a few brush strokes at a time! What I did to one, I did to all… Recently, as they were nearing completion, I kept seeing ghostly faces in them, so I decided on overlaying them with five angles of the face of Michelangelo's sculpture of David.
